The Photographic Service collects, preserves, restores and disseminates photographic documents concerning the Olympic Movement.
The collection contains 610,000 photographic documents, notably on:

To preserve and use its collections in the best way possible, the Photographic Service uses Kodak latest digital technology.
Some 90,000 images have been digitised, recorded on CD-ROM and CD-photos and indexed in an internal database to enable consultation.

Access to the Photographic Service is by appointment only and is restricted to researchers and professionals (agencies, editors, production companies, etc.)
To consult or obtain photographic material, a prior written request must be made by letter, fax or e-mail, mentioning: the service required, documents sought, medium, format, type of usage, delivery deadline and the full address for invoicing.
As the originals are preserved, only duplicates and/or digital files are provided. Therefore, it is useful to give a reasonable deadline to obtain the material on time.
Any research in our archives or acquisition of photographic material involves administration fees or reproduction rights.
Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
